Neither model (9.7" or 8") has S-pen (active) support. That means the only type of stylus you can use is a "universal" capacitive stylus that mimics the touch of your finger. You won't get any "palm rejection" or "pressure sensitivity" with those. About the only benefit over just using your finger is that some of them have smaller contact
Samsung has upgraded the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 tablet from the original Galaxy Tab S in just about every way, including a premium new design, top-of-the-line performance, and a very good camera.

I also have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2020). It has an 8.4 inch screen and it's serviceable for Tachiyomi but not too much else. Android doesn't really have a good solution for a small tablet with quality specs. The best you'll likely find at this point is about 10 and a half inches on the OLED Galaxy Tab 6.
This tablet is still quick after a year and half. With as many apps as I have, and multiple tasks open in the background it's still super zippy. I love the responsive big colorful screen after using a Samsung lite 7 and a Samsung 7 4.0 before this. The screen doesn't fall asleep like the lite used to.
My Galaxy Tab S2 is about 4 years old and I use it daily for email checks in the morning and watching reruns of House MD in the evening. System update is set to manual, but I always accept. Problem: Screen takes significant length of time to repopulate icons after video playback or other tasks.
vOrvsd. It is hard to hold the case open and take pictures because when the front of the case is fully open it blocks the camera. Also the case will prop up the tablet in a landscape position, but not in a portrait position. This review is from Platinum⢠- Folio Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 10 - Black.

I have for a long time had a major issue with my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7. I bought it second hand, it was all good to begin with. The battery was bad so the tab itself was a little slow and didn't have that great battery time. After a while it started dying when it was 20% left. As I said the battery was bad, so it wasn't strange.
The Tab S4âs 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display, which is the same size as the screen on the iPad Pro (the smaller model), is larger than the 9.7-inch display on the outgoing Galaxy Tab S3. The
Check documents and read through files easily on its 8â XGA TFT display. Keep your important files with you wherever you go with the Galaxy Tab A with S Penâs 2GB of RAM, and 16GB internal memory expandable up to 128GB with a microSD. It also packs a 4,200 mAh battery that is more than enough to let you catch up on work easily while on the go.
