There’s also masses of safety equipment as standard and the I-Pace received the maximum five-star score in Euro NCAP's independent safety I daily drove my 17 f-type v6 about 800 mile a month for almost 5 years until a teenager blew threw a light and crashed in to me totaling it. Had a couple minor issues but Jag has an awesome warranty so I got to drive some of the other models as loaners a couple times. I miss it every day and am looking for another F-Type to replace it's a daily. Hey everyone, I’m thinking of pulling the trigger on one of these beauties. Wanted to hear some feedback from some owners on how reliable these suvs… I think the ~2001-2004 era XJR models were actually decently reliable in terms of making it to 100k miles. They had some timing chain tensioner issues on the 2001 model, resolved for 2002 and some water pump issues but usually not until ~150k miles. The 2000 and earler models had issues with their cylinder linings. 10. The X150 XKR seems much better screwed together and it is a MUCH more modern car to drive, and that said, the X100 feels a lot better than the X308 to me in terms of modern feel. The X308 feels a bit like a classic car to drive; the X100 feels like a luxury muscle car (meh handling), and the X150 is much more capable handling wise and is a much Differential leak. The F-Type’s engines are proven from use in Jaguar’s other cars so shouldn’t give too much cause for concern if serviced to schedule. Some owners have, however, found that XpaPQcg. Jaguar-Land Rover (JLR) hasn't had any significant advertisement campaigns for the I-Pace in the USA since 2019. They also didn't sell it in the USA in MY2021 which didn't help with visibility. The I-Pace is an EV orphan in the JLR lineup and wasn't really ever part of a cohesive EV strategy. The F-Type R is faster on the highway than the base 'vette or GS, though would probably lose to a Z06 and definitely the ZR1. The Vette will definitely be faster around a track. But that kind of defeats the point, since the F isn't a track car. The looks, sound, and interior of the F made it an easy choice for me over the C7. The Clarkson Review: Jaguar F-Pace. A sporty SUV for connoisseurs, but Jaguar is still stuck in the slow lane. By Jeremy Clarkson (Sunday Times, Oct. 16) Sometimes on a road I use regularly there’s a forlorn-looking man sitting in a lay-by surrounded by various toadstools and zoo animals he has carved from bits of worryingly orange wood. You’ll have a better overall experience with the RAV4 than the F-Pace. The general consensus is accurate, Jaguars have a bit of issues with reliability and the cost when something does go wrong will be more expensive on the Jag. Don’t get me wrong, I love the styling and luxury of Jags, but I’d only buy with a warranty or lease.
